The Rose Lettuce, first cultivated in ancient Egypt, then passed to the Greeks and later to Romans before the modern Americas and Europe was consumed as a routine daily dietary intake. This variety was chosen for its acclimatization robustness and resilience to warm tropical climates for outdoor cultivation. 

 

These nutritionally rich Rose Lettuces are not only an excellent source of folate and vitamin K but also vitamin A. They are a source of potent antioxidants and are vital for skin, eye, and immune health. The Rose Lettuce is best prepared as salads, soups, or a simple stir-fry dish.

 

Do note that each of the individually-packed Rose Lettuce weighs between 80g to 120g.
