OUR COMMERCIAL URBAN VERTICAL FARM
Citiponics @ Ang Mo Kio
Our Citiponics @ Ang Mo Kio urban vertical farm is the first commercial farm to be piloted on a multi-storey carpark rooftop in Singapore. We started our first seeding in February 2019 and it is able to produce up to 4 tonnes of leafy greens monthly. We currently specialise in producing Georgina Lettuces, a species unique to Citiponics. Our produce are currently retailing at selected NTUC FairPrice supermarkets under our LeafWell brand.
OUR EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH
Agriculture education and experience for the future
generations of innovators
Our educational AOS soilless technology are currently used as part of the urban farming education programmes at schools such as Meridian Primary School and Unity Primary School. We believe that educating the future generations of children about the possibilities of green technology is important, we need to let them innovate from here.
Growing food and communities with
Citiponics aims to enrich the lives of communities through sustainable farming technology, education and food accessibility - connecting them to safe and clean food. Sustainable agriculture farming doesn’t have to be complex, everyone should be able to have a stake in it.
OUR VERTICAL GROWING TECHNOLOGY
Aqua Organic System (AOS)
Through more than 10 years of research and development, we created the Aqua Organic System (AOS) vertical growing technology. We built it with two goals in mind - simplicity in using the system and production of safe produce. AOS ensures that our produce are grown sustainably with zero wastage, zero pesticides, zero pollutants, minimal energy and water consumption.
